|| name || Carter Remington
|| age || 17
|| Biography || Growing up Carter’s life was…fine. Her parents were busy people, and she rarely saw them. However, when she did they were usually fighting and yelling at each other. Her dad was an alcoholic and her mother was just very temperamental. She never talked to her mom because when her mom yelled at her she yelled back. But when she was ten her parents went to some counseling and the fights and yells were becoming less frequent. She no longer had to take care of herself since her parents finally began to parent her, instead of her two older brothers and sister. And then her life, was just normal. No more fighting, until drama at school started. Yay.
She had ‘friends’ but they only used her so that she could help them pass on tests and such. People would always spread rumors about herself, and usually she would ignore it. They’re just words right? She talked to her ‘friends’ but never revealed anything to them because she knew that they weren’t true friends. She usually though, was fun loud and talkative. She could make people laugh, and no one could ever guess that she had a bit of an anger problem. Bit, she doesn’t have serious anger issues. It was until another rumor about her was being spread that she just snapped. People always underestimated her, thinking that ‘well she’s a nerd, so obviously she can’t fight, just a simple hit will make her cry’ but they were wrong. Most assumptions people made of her are wrong.
She went straight up to the girl who was spreading rumors about her and swung at her. She knew never to make the first hit, but hey, she couldn’t help it! She punched the girl square in the face and then the other girl began fighting back. Well, Carter’s been hit by a soccer ball, foot ball, been kicked and punched before {accident prone as a child} so she could just ignore it. In the end, Carter won but with a sprained arm. The girl, a broken nose and a pretty busted face along with fractured ribs.
That day, people knew not to mess with Carter. She used to be the model student, never got in trouble, always getting straight A’s, but after that fight people saw her differently. They saw her as an innocent girl that can kick some serious butt if needed too. It made her image seem tougher, and she didn’t hang out with the same people as before. At first people would try to pretend to not be intimidated by her and challenge her, well she had begged her dad to let her learn boxing and other stuff for ‘self defense’ and it came in real handy when she needed it.
As she got older she got into more fights, at first her parents thought little of it until her sophomore year when she almost got expelled for fighting. They tried to take her to counseling to ‘relieve her anger’ but what they didn’t understand is that she didn’t fight because she was mad. She fought, so people would stop treating her like crap under their shoes. She became that girl that guys wanted, and that girls envied. It wasn’t ‘the resident bad boy’ when she was around it was ‘resident bad girl’ because she’s a lot tougher than any other boy there.
But soon she began to hang out with the wrong people. Again. She went to parties every night, and wouldn’t come home until three in the morning completely drunk. Or she wouldn’t come home at all, and instead crash at someone’s place. She did alcohol, and sometimes drugs {not the biggest fan of it herself}. Her parents knew that there was nothing they could do with her to make her change, and they were sick of her always coming late or even coming home! Or getting a call from the school saying that she got into another fight. Her siblings encouraged her, saying go ahead. She comes off as a rude and harsh person, but that’s not really her. Unless she likes you or you get to know her you would understand that she’s funny, witty, and just amazing to be around. But not many people saw that of her, not even her parents.
They didn’t have to send her to Tigerland, because on another night out Carter got into another fight but this time the cops caught her. She really didn’t have a choice, because they thought juvie wouldn’t do anything, that it would just mold her into a worse person. So they thought that Tigerland was perfect for her.
Oh, how wrong people are when it comes to Carter.
